I was born in 1979 in Quebec City, province of Quebec, Canada. My mother tongue is French but I began learning English at a young age. Since a teenager I have been very much interested in psychology and philosophy and at 15 years old I began to write poetry. In 2002 I met my meditation teacher, a Tibetan Buddhist monk, Lama Samten. Since then I have been studying and practicing meditation with him and other teachers from His Holiness the Dalai Lama's lineage. I am also learning Tibetan language in order to translate in French the teachings of Geshe Sangpo who is from Tibet (Ganden Jangtse Monastery) and now lives in Quebec City. I work in a neuropsychology lab at Laval University. I am teaching mindfulness to children participating in clinical studies. I also teach Buddhist philosophy and meditation to adults. I have been practicing rock climbing for 15 years. I am now investing more time in meditation practices, teaching meditation and following the MBSR Teacher Training Program. I founded the Lotus Mindfulness Center to offer MBSR to people in Quebec. If you read this, I hope we get to meet someday!
