My recent TEDx talk compares mindfulness practice to physical fitness as a way to help adjust expectations. Many people who try mindfulness give up convinced they’re doing it wrong. It’s easy to confuse the practice with the potential outcomes and miss an opportunity to change the way we relate to discomfort.
