The Cambridge Health Alliance Center for Mindfulness and Compassion seeks a Communications Specialist. In this role, the Communications Specialist would work with the CMC team to further develop and implement a strategic vision for CMC programming (8-week courses, seminars, CE workshops, retreats), increase outreach and local and national community engagement. CMC’s mission is to bring evidence-based mindfulness and compassion training into healthcare and the broader community. Please see below for more information.
The Center for Mindfulness and Compassion (http://www.chacmc.org) is a vibrant, interdisciplinary center within the diverse public health system, Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). CMC aims to enhance the health and well-being of CHA and our local community by integrating mindfulness and compassion into healthcare. Based on current scientific understanding of mindfulness and compassion, CMC encourages empirically-supported theory and practice.
