Letter with Intention (MS Word or PDF)

The certification process asks for "Please attach your Application Letter with Intention (MS Word or PDF) " but I do not see any instructions for the letter - please advise. Kind regards, Jan Snyder

I see that the website has undergone a substantial update since last evening and my question has been answered.

With thanks,

Jan

Hi Jan,

Are you referring to the Personal Statement? Can you tell me where you found the instructions for the personal statement?

Thank you,
Emily

Hi Emily,

I was referring to the Personal Statement but I did not find any instructions.

(Website monitors, please jump in asap if the information I am about to share is incorrect!)

So I just used the formula for a personal statement that is typically used for application tor graduate school. Doing a search for examples of personal stamens may be helpful.

Kind regards,

Jan

Hi Jan and All,

Jan’s suggestion for the personal statement is on point. Thanks, Jan!

And here is the link to the complete information about preparing a teacher certification review portfolio, which, especially when you take into account Jan’s suggestion, is complete.

In a way, this certification review process is rather like the capstone project that many contemporary masters’ degree programs use. A high degree of appropriate self-direction is part of what you are demonstrating.

Thanks for all your care in preparing your portfolios according to the above linked guidelines. If you have further queries, you may post them here.

Kindly,
Eowyn
