Is it possible to have occasional glasses of wine and benefit from a mindful practice?
Hi, Lisa. This is an excellent question, thank you for posting, as cultural or personal choices about various aspects of life can influence everything we do.
A mindfulness practice may be of benefit to people who engage with it under a variety of life circumstances. Do you find the practice to be helpful to you, while having the occasional glass?
One consideration to explore is the effects of drinking; doing so to excess such that it negatively impacts one’s awareness and discernment may have different outcomes than drinking less. I’ve never known being heedful to be harmful!
