The 2nd-annual Mindfulness in Society Conference will be held in Concord, NH, on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13-14. The event features nationally known speakers, including Rhonda Magee, author of The Inner Work of Racial Justice, whose work integrating mindfulness into higher education, law, and social justice has great relevance in today’s world. Workshops at the conference will address mindfulness in health-care, education, business, and society. Last year’s event, with Sharon Salzberg as the keynote speaker, was outstanding.
