Hi, does anybody know how developped MBSR is in Switzerland? I am looking into the teaching training course as a career path.

Hi Sonia, There is an upcoming Cultivating Emotional Balance (CEB) training in Spain. The program has some similar components to MBSR but also is more focused on the path to genuine happiness as well as understanding emotions in ourselves and others. MBSR is quite developed in Switzerland. In Zurich there is MBSR Verband that gives 8-week courses and trains future teachers too, in Swiss-German. In French-speaking Switzerland where I am based, in terms of teacher training, we are linked to ADM, Association pour le développement de la Mindfulness, that organizes MBSR practicums together with the Center for Mindfulness. The practicums are translated on site. Lots of courses, but especially in the main cities.
