We all know that for decades psychoanalytical theory has been used by scholars and academics within cultural studies and the humanities as an analytical tool. While this can be useful and enlightening, I feel it simply doesn’t go far enough. As such, I have been thinking for some months about introducing a meditative mindfulness theoretical approach.
Does anyone know of any academics working on developing a mindfulness theoretical tool for analysis (for example of literary/filmic texts)?
Warm Wishes, Nigel
