I’m interested in applying for the 9-Day Practicum in Petaluma, CA in February 2017. I completed the 8 Week MBSR Program locally (with an instructor who has trained with the UMASS CFM). However, I was told that the Oasis Teacher Training group at the CFM needs to approve of this 8 Week MBSR course before I can apply for the Practicum.
Who should I reach out to in order to have this course reviewed?

Thanks for your inquiry.
If the teacher was trained at the CFM and the course you took was an 8 week
MBSR class, which means it included an All-Day class and that the sessions
were about 2.5 hours long, it qualifies. Having taken such a course, most
folks just apply for the Practicum and the Oasis admin reviews their
eight-week course during the application process. That said, I have
forwarded your question to the Oasis team, to see if they have another
suggestion or instruction for you. They won’t be in the office til Monday,
of course.
