Hello, all. I’m on the path of training to teach MBSR and newly engaging with cfmHOME. Please forgive any insufficient understanding of how this works.
I wanted to let all know - many may already know - that registration is now open for next January’s Mindfulness, Insight, Liberation: The Foundations of Mindfulness-Based Modalities and Research taught by Akincano, Chris Cullen and Jaya Karen Rudgard, January 8–15, 2017.
According to IMS literature, “This retreat is specifically for those teaching, training, researching or otherwise engaged in mindfulness-based approaches.
… participants are invited to extend and deepen personal experience of insight meditation, which is rooted in the cultivation of mindfulness. In the company of peers and colleagues, there’ll be an opportunity to explore the Four Foundations of Mindfulness as taught in the Satipatthāna discourse given by the Buddha. Each day will offer a sustained schedule of formal meditation practice (both insight and metta, the teaching of boundless friendliness), meetings with the teachers, talks and guidance, all within an environment of silence. A familiarity with formal practice is assumed.”

I took the last two January retreats at IMS for Mindfulness-based professionals, taught by Christina Feldman, John Peacock & Chris Cullen (assisted by Yuka Nakamura) in Jan '15, and with Christina Feldman & Chris Cullen (assisted by Yuka Nakamura and Jaya Rutgard) this Jan '16. These retreats were tremendous experiences, deep support in cultivating a practice of embodiment with such remarkable teachers!
