The new MBSR teacher certification process

Hello,

I am a french MBSR Teacher.
Yesterday I saw the new certification process, with some changes compared with the former.
Having just spent a week of vacation with my children working on the video editing, sub-titling (parts of session 4, 5 and 6 - and not only the 5th as required now), I am wondering if there would be some room for a kind of “transition period” between the two different submission process.
Also, concerning the worbook and/or home practice sheets, having to make a lot of english translation, would it be possible to have a little more details about what is expected
?
And last question, I do not see the former requirement of evaluations from participants (That I have gathered through the year and am currently translating too), is it possible to still forward them to you ?

Hi,

Like Thomas I am also rather confused. I completed my individual supervision earlier this year and my supervisor recommended me to apply for certification. I have begun assembling my materials for certification review, which I plan to send later this summer or early fall of this year. Can someone please clarify:

  1. what should I be sending as a video recording?
  2. do I need to now do group supervision first? (I have already completed all the teacher training retreats, more than 4 silent retreats, and individual supervision, and have taught well over 8 MBSR cycles, so I am assuming I am already on the certification pathway?)
  3. am I going by this new list of materials, or is there another list I should be referring to?

Send video of class five.

No, and for the reason you mentioned in the question - because you started
your training before that was a requirement.

Go by the new list, except for any requirements, like group supervision,
that are new since you started training.
